2 Officers Join Ranks Of Morrisville Police Department

MORRISVILLE, PA —The Morrisville Borough Police Department has added two new police officers to its ranks.

Mayor Gary Wallace officiated the swearing-in ceremony for Police Officer Michelle Williamson and Officer Chris Carlin during Tuesday night's council meeting.

Williamson joins Morrisville full-time after working part-time for the department for the past two and a half years.

She brings with her four years of experience as an officer with the Penndel Borough and the Bryn Athyn Borough, as well as nearly 20 years of experience as a police dispatcher, the last six years being with the Pennsylvania State Police.

Williamson holds an Associate of Arts degree with a focus in Psychology and aspires to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Behavior Analysis.

She loves spending time with her boxer, Coconut, her family, and friends, and enjoys music and the beach.

Williamson said she is excited to be able to continue to serve the community as a full-time officer.

Carlin began his law enforcement career in 2018 when he attended the Philadelphia Police Academy and then worked as a full-time patrol officer for Temple University.

In addition to patrol, Carlin was a field training officer and received additional training in crisis intervention.

While off duty, he enjoys hiking with his dogs, watching Philadelphia sports, and also serving as a volunteer firefighter.
