2 Playgrounds Closing For Upgrades In Lower Makefield Twp.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —The township will close two playgrounds this week for some "much-needed upgrades," officials said.

Kids Kingdom will be closed for wood staining starting Tuesday and running through Friday.

Meanwhile, the Memorial Park Secret Garden Playground will also be closed —and for much longer, officials said.

The closure of that park will begin on Monday, Oct. 21, and last for four-to-six weeks, officials said.

Improvements include the replacement of rubberized surfaces, equipment, painting, fencing, and more.
