2 Workshops Planned On Future Of Lower Makefield Corridor

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The township is holding a two-night Community Visioning Workshop to discuss the future of the Route 332 area.

The township is seeking community input at the workshops on Wednesday and Thursday nights regarding the area of Stony Hill Road and Edgewood Village.

The workshops will be held both nights from 6-9 p.m. at the Lower Makefield Township Community Center at 1550 Oxford Valley Road.

The interactive workshops are part of the ongoing Integrated Master Planning Process.

Township officials said this is the opportunity for residents to help shape the long-term vision for one of the township's most important corridors.

Throughout the workshops, participants will discuss:

• Land use and future development
• Edgewood Village and Shadybrook Farms
• Walkability, traffic, and connectivity
• Preservation, community character, and design guidelines
• A coordinated vision for the future of Lower Makefield Township
