SOLICITING WITHOUT PERMIT — Homestead Drive and Wrightfield Avenue, reported at 3:39 p.m. The complainant reported a solicitor for Victory Home Remodeling soliciting without a permit. He was advised to cease soliciting until a permit was obtained.

RETAIL THEFT — 900 block of Vansant Drive at Wegmans, reported at 3:35 p.m. Loss Prevention reported on Jan. 31 that two men entered the store and stole $1,235.14 worth of alcohol without paying. An investigation is ongoing.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — Oxford Valley Road and Route 1, reported at 11:55 p..m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia. The 19-year-old Levittown man was cited for disorderly conduct.

Feb. 3

THEFT — 300 block of Denny Drive, reported at 8:24 a.m. The complainant reported the theft of their license plate.

SOLICITING WITHOUT PERMIT — 300 block of Kathy Drive, reported at 1:45 p.m. The complainant reported a man soliciting for PECO without a permit.

FRAUD:

  • 700 block of Township Line Road at Jubilant Pharma, reported at 2:15 p.m. The complainant reported that one of their merchants advised that their accounts had been compromised and provided a different account number for an $82,368 payment. It was later discovered that the merchant’s account was hacked and that the money was wired to an unknown account.
  • 1400 block of Windrow Lane, reported at 3:50 p.m. The complainant reported receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, advising that their account was compromised and they needed to send $24,950 to catch the individual responsible. The person realized this was a scam before sending money.

Feb. 2

THEFT:

  • 400 block of Roelofs Road, reported at 9:08 a.m. The complainant reported the theft of their license plate.
  • 500 block of Freedom Drive, reported at 12:50 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of their license plate.
  • 500 block of Clarendon Court, reported at 2:15 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of their license plate.

Feb. 1

FRAUD — 100 block of Ovington Road, reported at 7:51 p.m. The complainant reported sending $700 to an unknown person, believing their child had been arrested.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD — 22000 block of Cornerstone Drive, reported at 5:28 p.m. The complainant reported that someone they knew used their credit card without permission. An investigation is ongoing.

Jan. 31

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — Route 1 and Oxford Valley Road, reported at 11:34 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of a small amount of marijuana. A 21-year-old male passenger and a 22-year-old male passenger from Trenton, N.J. were cited for disorderly conduct.

Jan. 30

FRAUD — Unit block of West Ferry Road, reported at 5:49 p.m. The complainant reported hiring USARoofMasters.com to repair their home after a hailstorm in April 2023. A $10,083.54 check was sent to the insurance company, but work was never performed, and they are not responding to phone calls or emails.
