MORRISVILLE, PA — A mother and her daughter are in police custody, charged with killing five family members who were found dead in a Morrisville apartment building on Monday, authorities in Bucks County said.

Shana Decree, 45, and her 19-year-old daughter, Dominique Decree, will each be charged with five counts of homicide and one count of conspiracy, Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub said while briefing the media late Monday. The arraignment is expected early Tuesday.

The five relatives, including three children, were found dead inside unit S-7 at Robert Morris Apartments after a welfare check was conducted at 4 p.m.

The victims were identified by authorities as Shana Decree’s children, Naa’Irah Smith, 25, and Damon Decree Jr., 13, both of Morrisville, Shana Decree’s sister, Jamilla Campbell, 42, of Trenton, NJ, and Campbell’s 9-year-old twin daughters, Imani and Erika Allen.

Weintraub said authorities are trying to find Jamilla Campbell's son, 17-year-old Joshua Campbell, to make sure he is safe. He is not a suspect, Weintraub said.

Authorities would not say how the victims died and no motive for the crimes was revealed. The investigation is ongoing by Morrisville Borough Police and Bucks County Detectives.

"This is a terrible tragedy," Weintraub said. "The people who committed these atrocious acts are in custody."

Earlier Monday, District Attorney spokesperson James O'Malley said the deceased were found in a bedroom of the apartment, located in the complex along the 200 block of West Bridge Street.

Two females, later identified as the suspects, were located in the apartment. One of the females was seizing, he said.

In a social media post on Monday evening, Morrisville Borough Police confirmed authorities were on the scene at 200 W. Bridge Street, emphasizing in capital letters "THERE IS NO DANGER TO THE PUBLIC."

A neighbor told Action News a welfare check was conducted after the residents were not seen in a week.
