681 Service Calls Handled By Yardley Borough Police In October

YARDLEY, PA —The past month has been a busy one for the Yardley Borough Police Department.
Police Chief Joseph Kelly III gave the Borough Council the October monthly crime report at its meeting earlier this month. The chief also mentioned some other projects the police department is involved in.

Meanwhile, the police department is involved in its annual coat collection drive. The department is also participating in a drive to combat hunger as well.
The police department also was presented with a $68,600 check for the purchase of a new police vehicle and motorcycle. The check was from a recent station visit by state Sen. Steve Santarsiero.
