$88,000 Stolen From Safe Of Lower Makefield Twp. Home
The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —The theft of $88,000 from a safe of a home is among the criminal incidents reported in the blotter that the Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released.

THEFTS:
- 600 block of Grange Drive, reported at 1:30 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of copper from a building under construction.
- 100 block of Barbara Drive, reported at 4:03 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of an Amazon package.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD —400 block of Trend Road, reported at 5:12 p.m. The complainant reported the unauthorized use of their credit cards.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE —1500 block of Revere Road, reported at 11:07 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle, retrieved the keys from inside, and drove off with the 2013 Ford Explorer.
ATTEMPTED THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE —1400 block of Clinton Drive, reported at 3:47 a.m. The complainant reported waking to their vehicle’s alarm sounding. Upon investigating, they found their rear passenger side window smashed. Police discovered the steering column taken apart and the vehicle in accessory mode.
ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM VEHICLE:
- 1500 block of Clark Drive, reported at 6:06 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) smashed their rear passenger window and rummaged through it. Nothing was reported missing at this time.
- 1400 block of Clinton Drive, reported at 8 a.m. The complainant reported unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it. Nothing was reported missing at this time.
- 1400 block of Clinton Drive, reported at 6:45 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) attempted to enter their locked vehicle. The incident was captured on surveillance video.
THEFT – 900 block of Stony Hill Road at Prickett Preserve reported at 8:35 a.m. The complainant reported the theft of copper from a building under construction.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF —1000 block of University Drive, reported at 9:11 a.m. The complainant reported unknown person(s) damaged a valve stem of one tire and put a nail in the side of it.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE:
- 1400 block of Clinton Drive, reported at 6:45 a.m. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a Chromebook, Air Pods, $40 USC, and a debit card.
- 1500 block of Revere Road, reported at 9:10 a.m. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed $7 USC.
- 1500 block of Revere Road, reported at 9:10 a.m. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed their sunglasses.

THEFT —200 block of Elm Avenue, reported at 4:02 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of
laptop sometime between 11/25-12/1.
ACCIDENT & DUI ARREST —200 block of Oxford Valley Road, reported at 5:17 p.m. Police responded to the report of a one-vehicle accident at the location. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 76-year-old female township driver for Driving Under the Influence.
Dec. 9
STOLEN VEHICLE ARREST —Rt. 1 and Oxford Valley Road, reported at 3:46 a.m. While on patrol, police received an LPR alert for a stolen vehicle. Police proceeded to Rt. 1 South, where the stolen vehicle attempted to elude police. A felony traffic stop was initiated and the 35-year-old male driver from Hamilton, N.J. was taken into police custody. He was charged with Receiving Stolen Property and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. He was arraigned by District Justice Frank Parenteau and sent to BCCF in lieu of $30,000 with 10 percent bail.
IDENTITY THEFT —300 block of Ramsey Road, reported at 2 p.m. The complainant reported unknown person(s) opened a Home Depot credit card in their name and charged $1,000. They also had fraudulent activity on their American Express credit card.

IDENTITY THEFT:
- 200 block S. Flint Court, reported at 4 p.m. The complainant reported unknown person(s) opened a PECO account in their name.
- Unit block of Maplevale Drive, reported at 2:50 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) opened a Sephora account in their name.
BURGLARY —1000 block of Kathy Drive, reported at 6:55 p.m. The complainant reported that while returning home from vacation, an unknown person(s) entered the residence and removed $88,000 from a safe. The investigation is ongoing.
