The school community was informed of the threat on Wednesday night by Schools Superintendent Thomas A. Smith and Charles Boehm Principal Stephanie Hultquist.

School officials said the threat involved a report that a student planned to bring a firearm to the school in Lower Makefield Township on Thursday.

Lower Makefield Township Police has launched an investigation into the threat, school officials said.

School officials stated that the student did not have access to weapons, and authorities have deemed the reported threat not credible.

On Tuesday night, Schools Superintendent Thomas A. Smith informed the Pennsbury High School community about a Level 1 (Low-Level Safety Concern) incident.

Smith said someone left a phone message from a blocked number stating they were going to “bring a bomb to school tomorrow.”
