Another Yardley Borough Council Resignation Expected
Borough Council is expected to accept another resignation at its meeting Tuesday night. This would be the second in less than a month.

YARDLEY, PA —The Borough Council is expected to lose another member —the second in less than a month —at its meeting Tuesday night, borough officials said.
During its meeting, the council is expected to accept the resignation of an unnamed council member, the meeting agenda and the borough's Facebook page states. The council is also expected to name two replacements, according to the agenda.
"Yardley Borough Residents, we anticipate a second vacancy opening up on council in the near future," the Facebook post states. "Should we formally accept the vacancy, we may opt to fill both vacancies from the same pool of applications, as borough code allows, and to reduce disruption to borough business."
