Attempted Burglary, Bank Fraud: Lower Makefield Crimes
The Lower Makefield Township Police Department issued its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A bank fraud and an attempted burglary topped the blotter of criminal incidents the Lower Makefield Township Police Department issued for the past week.

THEFT —1700 Block of Buchannan Way, reported at 11:11 a.m. The complainant reports that unknown persons opened bank accounts with their information. The complaint was advised that $59 had been transferred from one of their bank accounts. No other transactions occurred, and the accounts were then closed.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS —200 Block of River Road, reported at 1:20 a.m. The complainant reports that he opened the door for an unknown male subject who then forced his way past the homeowner and entered the home. Police responded and took the subject into custody.

Jan. 7
THEFT —1641 Big Oak Road, reported at 8:10 p.m. Police received a call that there were three suspects inside the store wearing ski masks. An employee observed two suspects filling shopping carts with merchandise. The third suspect left the parking lot in an unknown vehicle. The other two subjects were detained by police. One of which was taken into custody for retail theft.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY —1300 Block of Oxford Valley Road at 4:31 p.m. The complainant reports that approximately three weeks ago, two men attempted to enter their home. Both suspects fled the area in a white Toyota Camry with PA registration after the owner’s dog chased them from the property. No damage or theft were reported. The incident is under investigation.
Jan. 3
FRAUD —600 Block of Tomlinson Lane, reported at 4:05 p.m. The complainant reports that an unknown person used their debit card for $1,674.24. The bank will do an investigation.
THEFT —1900 Block of Knights Circle, reported at 10:55 a.m. The complainant states that they ordered merchandise valued at $100 which was stolen from their mailbox on Dec. 30.
