Attempted Burglary Under Investigation In Yardley

YARDLEY, PA —The Yardley Borough Police Department is investigating an attempted commercial burglary that took place early Thursday morning.

Police Chief Joseph Kelly III said that a borough police officer on patrol was alerted to a burglary alarm activation at 4:27 a.m. at 175 S. Main St.

Upon arrival, the officer discovered an unknown person or persons had removed the front door lock and made entry into one of the businesses.

At this time, nothing has been reported stolen and the matter remains under investigation, the police chief said.

Police did not reveal the name of the business.
