Barking Dogs Break Noise Ordinance, Facebook Fraud: Morrisville Crimes
The Morrisville Borough Police Department has released its blotter of recent criminal incidents.

The Morrisville Borough Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents from Aug. 4 to Aug. 10.
These are the criminal incidents:

- Arrest/Warrant — 08/04/26 — A 35-year-old man turned himself in on a warrant out of this department. He was processed and arraigned and bail was set at $25,000 unsecured.
- Stolen Vehicle — 08/04/26 — The victim reported her vehicle was stolen from the unit block of West Bridge Street.
- Fraud — 08/06/26 — The victim reported he called a number for Facebook Help on Google and an unidentified man answered the call and claimed his Facebook account was hacked. The victim was instructed to download the WhatsApp application so they could communicate. The victim was directed to purchase $1,000 worth of Apple gift cards from Walmart. The victim became suspicious that he was being scammed and stopped all communication. Total loss was $1,000.
- Criminal Mischief/Cited — 08/07/26 — A 48-year-old woman was cited for criminal mischief following an incident at the 400 block of West Bridge Street.
- Stolen Phone — 08/07/26 — The victim reported his phone was charging at 7/11, he walked out of the store and realized he forgot his phone. When he went back inside the store the phone was gone.
- Retail Theft — 08/08/26 — Police took a report for a theft that occurred on 8/4/26 around 0705 hours, $50 worth of beef was observed being concealed in the waistband of an unknown male. Ongoing investigation.
- Arrest/Warrant — 08/08/26 — A 28-year-old man was issued a warrant for Simple Assault, strangulation and harassment. He was taken into custody on 08/09/26, bail was set at $35,000 unsecured.
- Theft — 08/09/26 — Police are investigating an incident where an unknown woman came to Dollar Tree, asked an employee to scan a bar code on her phone, and the woman allegedly received $100 according to the drawer count/transactions. Ongoing investigation.
- Retail Theft/Warrant — 08/09/26 — A 47-year-old man had a warrant issued for his arrest for retail theft/rsp following a retail theft that occurred in May at Giant Food Store, $51.58 of energy drinks stolen.
- Arrest/Warrant — 08/10/26 — A 24-year-old woman was arrested for a warrant of this department for an earlier incident that occurred. Bail was set at $5,000 unsecured.
- Noise Ordinance/Cited — 08/10/26 — A 64-year-old man was cited for dogs barking approximately 15 minutes long in the 400 block of Barclay Avenue.
