Burglar Enters Poolhouse, Residents Maced Top Lower Makefield Crimes

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A man from Georgia is in custody after entering the poolhouse of a home during a burglary. Meanwhile, residents were maced in another incident.

June 19
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT —400 block of Kings Road, reported at 8:32 a.m. The complainant reported the theft of their 2021 Dodge Durango sometime overnight. An investigation is ongoing.

FRAUD —200 block of South Flint Court, reported at 12:01 p.m. The complainant reported hiring Home Repair LLC to complete work on their residence that was damaged by a hail storm. The insurance check was cashed, but the work has not been completed. The company has not responded to the homeowner’s attempts to contact them. An investigation is ongoing.

SOLICITORS —300 block of Richard Road, reported at 2:53 p.m. The complainant reported
a solicitor in the area soliciting for Advanced Axis without a permit. She was advised to cease soliciting until a permit was obtained.
June 16
DISORDERLY CONDUCT —1500 block of Kathy Drive, reported at 1:39 a.m. Police responded to an abandoned 911 call at the location. Upon arrival, police were met by a group of people who were maced by unknown assailants but refused police assistance. Police were called back out to the residence at 2:50 a.m. due to the same assailants driving around the parking lot, possibly armed and threatening the residents. A vehicle matching the description was pulled over on River Road where two of the assailants were identified. An 18-year-old woman and a 21-year-old woman from Trenton, N.J., were cited for Disorderly Conduct.
June 14
BURGLARY —1200 block of Woodside Road, reported at 9:12 p.m. Police responded to the report of a burglary in progress at the location. The homeowner observed an unknown man enter their pool house. Police entered the pool house and located the 28-year-old man from Decatur, GA. He was taken into police custody. He was charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Loitering, and Prowling. He was arraigned by District Justic O’Neill and was sent to BCCF in lieu of $50,000 with 10 percent bail.
