Buy Gas, Help Pennsbury Students In Need

YARDLEY, PA — During the rest of April, you can fill up the tank while helping out some Pennsbury students who need a little help.

Throughout the month, a portion of all gas sales at Big Oak Citgo, at 812 Big Oak Rd., will go to Neighbor in Need's Student Assistance Fund for students in the Pennsbury school district.

The fund works alongside social workers in the Pennsbury district to help students with outstanding needs. Donations cover items including winter boots, school supplies and field trip fees.

The event started last month and ends April 30.

Neighbor in Need is a local group focused on short-term needs in the community. It arranges meal deliveries, grocery assistance, Thanksgiving meals, children's holiday parties and more.
