Canal-O-Ween Carve-O-Thon Is Sunday
250-350 Jack-O-Lanterns will be carved in about three hours Sunday in Yardley. You can see them along the canal through Nov. 4.

YARDLEY, PA — The annual Canal-O-Ween Carve-O-Thon will be held Sunday in Yardley. The community is invited to the free event, during which 250-350 Jack-O-Lanterns will be carved in about three hours.
The event is held from noon to 3 p.m. at Rivermawr Green at the corner of Maple and Morgan avenues in Yardley Borough.
Participants should bring tools and a pumpkin, if possible. There will be some pumpkins there to carve, also.

Once the pumpkins are carved, they'll be set out along a quarter mile of the Delaware Canal for the first night’s lighting.
If you can't make it to the Carve-O-Thon, you can still enjoy the Jack-O-Lantern stroll from Sunday, Oct. 29 through Saturday, Nov. 4 along the towpath evenings from 6 to 9 p.m.

The hand-carved Jack-O-Lanterns will be visible from Afton Avenue to North Edgewater Avenue.
