Car Fire Knocked Down In Lower Makefield

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Yardley-Makefield Fire Department knocked down a vehicle fire at a church on Sunday night.

Fire crews were out handling a possible apartment fire when they were dispatched to a vehicle fire in the parking lot of St. Ignatius Church.

"We had a big audience being this happened during the parish annual picnic," fire officials said.

The fire department thanked the Lower Makefield Township Police Department and fire police for assisting with traffic and crowd control.
