YARDLEY, PA —With November focusing on giving, Commonplace Reader is hosting a gently-used book collection drive on Saturday in hopes of delivering them to needy families in Philadelphia and New Jersey.

Elizabeth Young, the owner of the Main Street bookstore, said that the collection drive will be held in the parking lot from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

She said that used books are accepted for all ages except for references and textbooks. The books donated will be redistributed to the underserved families.
