Community Day Sept 14 11Am-6PM (Charissa Lees)

The Solid Rock Youth Center is opening its doors for the school year with a festival for the entire family! There will be activities for all the kids, such as our foam pit, rock and pumpkin painting, and tons of different games. Food trucks and the Cafe will be available for all the dining needs. Vendors and yard salers from all over Bucks County and Philadelphia will be presenting their goods and wears. Everything from personal yard sales to Origami Owl, Discover Toys, Wow Balloons, Jellybean Kisses, Usborne Books, Mimsy's Cottage, Damsel in Defense, C. Wessel Creations, and many more. The SRYC also runs its own yard sale and donations come from all over the county. Items include kids bedroom sets, kitchen items, decorations, craft items, tools, books, records, jewelry, clothes, and much more. The event will run from 11 AM to 6 PM. It will take place both inside and outside the youth center, and rain or shine.

Donations are being accepted for the yard sale. There are all tax deductible, if you would like a tax receipt. Please contact the director for drop off times. Or you can purchase as space to sell for yourself.

During the school year, the SYRC is the one place in Morrisville that youth can safely hang out and have fun for free! Youth in grades 6-12 are welcome to attend every Friday and Saturday night from 6-8:30 PM. At least once a month, there is a family night, such as a game night or festival. Located at 150 Harrison Avenue, they have band equipment, gaming systems, computers, and games such as pool, the Rock Café, and lounge areas. A different event happens every night and all events are designed to help teens pursue recreational, educational, and spiritual development. The teens learn character building, communication skills, life skills, problem solving, and team work.
