Fitzpatrick said he's seen the impact the United Way of Bucks County has made.
"When Marissa shared her vision for a permanent home that could fundamentally improve how we serve families across Bucks County, I got to work," said Fitzpatrick, adding that he made the project a priority and fought for $4.15 million in federal funding. "Today, that vision is making a measurable difference — reaching more neighbors, connecting families with critical resources, and creating new pathways to stability and opportunity. That is the true measure of this investment: not simply the dollars committed, but the lives changed and the opportunities created."
The new HELP Center and permanent headquarters will:
- Expand access to critical assistance: Increase capacity to provide essential goods, emergency resources, and coordinated support to more individuals and families.
- Strengthen community partnerships: Bring nonprofit organizations, municipal partners, and service providers together to improve coordination, reduce barriers, and ensure assistance reaches those who need it most.
- Create pathways to greater stability: Connect families with workforce resources, housing and health-related assistance, and opportunities to achieve greater financial independence.
