- 200 block of South Fieldstone Court, reported at 9:42 a.m. The complainant reported hiring Home Repair LLC in August 2023 to complete work on their residence that was damaged by a hail storm. The insurance check was cashed, but the work has not been completed. The company has not responded to the homeowner’s attempts to contact them. The investigation is ongoing.

THEFT —Chase Rd. & Twining Rd. reported at 4:06 p.m. The complainant reported while taking a break from soliciting for Aptive Environmental, an unknown person(s) stole their Segway.

FRAUD:
- 1500 block of Stapler Drive, reported at 9:06 a.m. The complainant reported receiving a pop-up on their computer advising them to contact Microsoft. After giving remote access to who they believed to be a Microsoft representative, more $106,000 was removed from their account.
- 300 block of Cinnabar Ln. reported at 9:50 a.m. The complainant reported hiring Home Repair LLC in December 2023 to complete work on their residence damaged by a hail storm. The insurance check was cashed, but the work has not been completed. The company has not responded to the homeowner’s attempts to contact them. The investigation is ongoing.
RETAIL THEFT —600 block of Heacock Road at Fine Wine & Good Spirits reported at 12:46 p.m. The general manager reported that on April 27, an unknown man entered the store, concealed a bottle of Remy Martin Cognac champagne, and left without paying.

FRAUD:
- 1500 block of Applewood Circle, reported at 2:38 p.m. The complainant reported sending $3,000 via Zelle to someone claiming to be an attorney.
- 1900 block of Berrel Court, reported at 3:14 p.m. The complainant reported being a victim of a cryptocurrency scam where they invested $450,000 in total.
RETAIL THEFT —1600 block of Big Oak Road at Shop Rite, reported at 8 p.m. The store manager reported three unknown persons removed $603.47 worth of merchandise without paying. They were stopped by the manager and fled without taking the cart.
