Lower Makefield Township Environmental Advisory Council presentation of Mach 14 about data centers
It was a full house on Saturday March 14 to hear about the hot topic of Data Centers.
The presentation was part of the LMT Environmental Advisory Council lecture series.
The two speakers, Jessica O'Neill from Penn Future and Max Haworth of Community Action Works, explained the purpose of Data Centers, their risks and why they proliferate. They can take over a lot of real estate, be noisy and polluting. They also use a vast quantity of basic resources: electricity and water.
