Driver Freed After 2-Vehicle Crash In Lower Makefield Twp.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A driver was rescued after being trapped following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning, fire officials said.

Yardley Makefield Fire Company personnel responded at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday along with Engine 22 from Middletown Township to the intersection of Stony Hill Road and Yardley-Langhorne Road for a two-vehicle accident with entrapment.

Fire crews removed a door on one of the vehicles and freed the driver, fire officials said.

Fire officials did not report whether the driver suffered any injuries.

Fire crews also assisted with hazard control while the Yardley Makefield Fire Company fire police assisted with traffic control.
