Drug Paraphernalia, DUI Arrests Reported In Yardley

The Yardley Borough Police Department has issued its blotter of recent criminal incidents.

YARDLEY, PA —The Yardley Borough Police Department has released its blotter of recent criminal incidents.

These are the criminal incidents:

ARREST – DUI – MV ACCIDENT —Around 8:54 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, police officers stopped a vehicle southbound on North Main St. Police discovered that the driver had struck a fixed object rendering the vehicle disabled. A further investigation led to probable cause that the driver was under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance and careless driving. A 35-year-old Newtown woman was arrested, processed, charged and released. The matter is pending in court.

ARREST – DRUG PARAPHERNALIA —Around 9:57 a.m. on July 30, Yardley and Lower Makefield Township police officers were dispatched to an occupied suspicious vehicle. Further investigation led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia at Windsor Road near Jervue Drive. A 42-year-old Lower Makefield Township man was arrested, processed, charged, and released. The matter is pending court.
