ARREST – DUI / DRUG POSSESSION —March 25. Area of Brown Street and Morgan Avenue. Police officers were on Morgan Avenue when a man was observed driving a vehicle and smoking from a glass pipe. A vehicle stop and investigation led to the arrest for suspicion of DUI. A 54-year-old Lower Makefield Township man was charged with DUI and drug-related offenses. He was processed and released. The vehicle was impounded and a search warrant was obtained and executed. The matter is pending a court appearance.

CONTEMPT OF COURT, VIOLATION OF A PROTECTION ORDER —March 26. Yardley Commons. A Yardley police officer responded to a well-being check called in by a neighbor. Further investigation revealed the call was placed by a party prohibited from contacting the resident utilizing someone else’s name. Additionally, dozens of additional phone contacts were reported A 63-year-old Bensalem woman was charged with contempt of court.
