Egg Vandals Crackdown In Lower Makefield Township

Lower Makefield Township Police are seeking the public's help after a recent rash of egg-throwing incidents at homes and vehicles.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —It's still two months away from Mischief Night, but criminal mischief incidents are happening in the township and police want to crack down on the egg throwers.

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department said it is seeking the public's help in identifying those responsible for numerous reports of vandalism, specifically eggs being thrown at homes and vehicles.

In its police blotter last week, police reported several egg-throwing incidents.

Police are asking residents to report these incidents to the police.

Three incidents were reported last week:

  • On Aug. 24, police said a resident on the 700 block of Sumter Drive reported at 9:01 p.m. that an unknown person(s) egged their home.
  • On Aug. 22, police said a resident on the 100 block of Pine Lane reported at 10:18 p.m. that an unknown person(s) egged their home.
  • On Aug. 21, police said a resident on the 500 block of Aspen Woods Drive reported at 8:37 a.m. that an unknown person(s) egged their home on Aug. 19 and Aug. 20.
