What are the top issues currently facing your district and how do you plan to address them?
I have spent months knocking on the doors of local residents and what they care about right now is clear: Stopping the rampant inflation hurting their pocketbooks and keeping their families safe from increasing crime.

While liberal Washington fiscal policies will always impact inflation, here in PA we must focus on strong fiscal discipline that controls spending, safely harnessing the vast energy resources we have to reduce costs for consumers, and helping our small businesses and job creators regrow our economy.

To help combat crime, we must stand with law enforcement and make certain they have the tools they need, and we must stop the progressive agenda that is focused more on defunding police and protecting criminals than it is on ensuring the safety of our families and the rights of crime victims.

Identify specific goals or ideas you have to enhance life in your district:
First and foremost would be – as noted above – to combat inflation and focus on public safety. These are not only the issues residents are most concerned about today, but they are core functions of government.

That said, my commitment to working with local leaders, civic and charitable groups and local residents working to make our community stronger existed long before I ran for office and will exist long after –but serving as State Representative will allow me to do so much more. Our community has so many worthy causes and hard-working volunteers who I would be able to promote, assist, and support as they work toward their positive missions. That is something I will do to enhance life locally.

What in your experience or background prepares you for election to the office?
I am a product of the community I want to represent. I have lived here for decades, graduated from our public schools, am a husband and father with children in our schools, and a local small businessman and community volunteer.

All of these things together give me a deep understanding of the concerns of our families and the challenges they face. It is this understanding that will drive my decision-making as a Representative – not politics or partisanship. As State Representative, my question on any issue will be, “what is right and what helps the most people?” That is the path I will take.
