What are the top issues currently facing your district and how do you plan to address them?
The top issue is clearly the economy and its negative impact on our citizens. Across the board prices are up, from food to gas to costs of goods and it’s hurting our families and businesses. Addressing this must be a multi-pronged approach of lowering taxes on individuals and businesses, utilizing the resources in the state, and creating jobs by bringing production of essential goods back to the area.

Education is another top issue. Learning loss coming off the pandemic-related closures needs to be addressed. This is going to take resources. I will fight to make sure that our teachers have what they need to prepare our students to meet the challenges of today’s world. I will never vote to decrease funding for education.

Identify specific goals or ideas you have to enhance life in your district:
We need to do more to address the mental health crisis we are in. It’s severely impacting our community as we have seen alarming increases in anxiety and depression in both children and adults. It plays a role in substance abuse, suicide attempts, and domestic violence as well. We need more resources available to meet the growing demand for mental healthcare and we must make sure our police and first responders have the support they need to meet the needs of the communities they serve.

What in your experience or background prepares you for election to office?
I’ve worked in healthcare since I was 15. Helping people is what I’ve spent my life doing and this is just a continuation of that. I’m also a business owner. I know how to create something, help it grow, and create jobs for others. I’m a problem solver, and I’m going to take my experience to Harrisburg and get to work helping the people of the Bucks County.
