Family Service Receives Fox & Roach/Trident Charities Donation

Family Service recently received a donation for the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter from the Yardley office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, Realtors through Fox & Roach/Trident Charities.

Since its inception in 1995, Fox & Roach/Trident Charities has contributed more than $6.6 million through office fund donations and board of trustee grants to more than 250 local community organizations in the Tri-State area. Unique to Fox & Roach/Trident Charities, the offices and departments not only contribute to the charity fund, they also recommend to the Board of Trustees which eligible organizations in their community receive donations.

The Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter, a program of Family Service, is open 24/7 and serves approximately 75 people at any given time. Typically one third of the residents are children. On-site services include case management, counseling, budgeting, job search resources and health evaluations. Last year alone, Family Service helped 495 people at the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter, 172 of which were children under the age of 18.
