Fire Damages Home In Lower Makefield Township
Three fire crews responded to a fire in the Kimbles Fields development off Dolington Road Tuesday night. No injuries were reported.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —Three fire crews battled a fire that damaged a home in the Kimbles Fields development Tuesday night.
No injuries were reported, fire officials said.
The Yardley-Makefield Fire Company —along with Newtown Fire Rescue and the Upper Makefield Fire Company —were dispatched around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday for a garage fire in the Kimbles Fields development off Dolington Road.

Fire crews discovered fire showing from the garage and extending to the home.
Northampton Rescue 3 and Engine 81 were added to the working fire. Rescue 45 arrived first and went in service with multiple hand lines. Rescue 80s crew arrived minutes later and assisted Rescue 45s crew.

Ladder 0s crew laddered the dwelling and all other crews assisted with the overhaul.
"It was a hot and humid evening so rehabilitation was vital," fire officials said. "Thanks to Medic 100 for assisting with this."
Newtown Fire Rescue said its Rescue 45 and Ladder 45 responded to the Yardley-Makefield Fire Company for the fire. Rescue 45 arrived first, established a water supply, and went into service. Ladder 45 assisted with ladder company operations and overhaul. Crews were back in service within two hours.
