'Float Your Wish' On Fourth Of July In Yardley
The Yardley Historical Association will hold the event on the Fourth of July at 3 p.m. at Lake Afton at the Old Library.

YARDLEY BOROUGH, PA — The Yardley Historical Association has rubber duckies ready to float out on Lake Afton bearing your wishes for the future.
The "Float Your Wish" on the Fourth of July event takes place at 3 p.m. at Lake Afton at the old Library.
"They can be wishes for Yardley, America, the Earth, the Universe, or you," the association said.

Participants can write their wish right on their duck (markers will be on hand) or write a longer message on paper and tie it around their duck's neck (we'll have those supplies too).
"When your duck is ready, you can place it in the lake — your wish afloat," organizers said.

A canoeist will be on the water in case some herding is needed and will, of course, gather the ducks at the end of the event.
Polluting Lake Afton with plastic ducks is not allowed.
At the end of the event, people can take home their ducks.
