Garden Of Reflection 5K Is Sunday
The event gets underway at 9 a.m. at the Garden of Reflection in Lower Makefield.
YARDLEY, PA — The 14th Annual 9/11 Garden of Reflection 5K will be held this weekend. The event gets underway at 9 a.m. Sunday at the Garden of Reflection in Lower Makefield.
The cost to participate is $30 in advance or $35 the day of the race. Same-day registration is from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. You can run or walk.
The 5K event raises money to preserve The Garden of Reflection memorial, which was created in remembrance of the victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Since the race began in 2003, it has raised more than $175,000 for the memorial, according to event organizers.
