GIANT In Morrisville Opens Beer And Wine Eatery

MORRISVILLE, PA — GIANT Food Stores on Thursday opened its 85th Beer & Wine Eatery in Pennsylvania at its Morrisville store.

The store, at 833 W. Trenton Ave., will celebrate with a grand opening on Saturday, Dec. 22, from 1-3 p.m.

"As customers are in the midst of holiday shopping, they now have the convenience of more than 300 varieties of both local and national brand beer and wine right at their local Morrisville GIANT," said Shawn Calafaty, the store's manager. "Thank you to the hard work of our dedicated associates who have brought our new Beer & Wine Eatery to life for our customers. They are ready to assist customers in making their selections for festive dinners and celebrating the New Year."

GIANT says the eatery features hundreds of domestic, imported and craft beers along with an "immense" wine selection. Beer fans will have a "mix-a-six" option of creating their own six-packs from a variety of craft beers.

The eatery also will offer eat-in or takeout options on foods including sandwiches, wraps, subs and salads.

The new eatery seats 30 people and is open Monday-Saturday, 7 a.m.-10 p.m., and Sundays, 9 a.m.-10 p.m.
