MORRISVILLE, PA —Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County will dedicate a new, three-bedroom home in the borough on Tuesday, the organization's 126th home.

The dedication of the home at 30 Hillcrest Avenue in Morrisville on Tuesday will go to Danielle, a single mother of three.

Danielle has always dreamed of being able to provide her family with a house of their own, Habitat said.

Living in a cramped two-bedroom apartment left the family little room for studying or privacy, and the rent kept going up.

Initially, Danielle reached out to Habitat in 2018.

She never gave up hope and kept focused on her dream. Danielle invested her sweat equity and her time in Habitat financial workshops and her confidence grew. She is now ready to be a homeowner.

“We look forward to presenting the keys to Danielle! She has worked very hard to fulfill her dream of homeownership. Habitat Bucks has been honored to partner with Danielle on her journey,” said Florence Kawoczka, executive director of Habitat Bucks.

The lead sponsors, Bank of America, KeyBank, and Bucks County Foundation, have shown exceptional leadership as champions of affordable housing initiatives within the Morrisville community.

Since breaking ground, more than 233 individual volunteers, along with those from local businesses, faith groups, organizations, and schools, have contributed more than 1,218 hours working with Habitat Bucks and the family to build this home.
