Hit-And-Run Driver Kills Man Getting Ice Cream In Bucks Co.: Cops

Have you seen this car? Police in Bucks Co. say it was involved in a fatal hit and run. An elderly man was killed after getting ice cream.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A man walking across the street with a cane after getting ice cream from a Bucks County shop was killed in a hit-and-run Tuesday night, authorities said. Police are seeking the public's help in finding the car that fatally hit the pedestrian around 9 p.m. in the 8800 block of New Falls Road in Falls Township, near JoJo's Ice Cream & Water Ice.

The car is described as dark blue or black four-door sedan missing right front passenger hubcap and has windshield/front end damage, police said.

JoJo's addressed the tragedy on its Facebook page, asking the community for prayers and expressing their sadness. "PRAYERS PLEASE.......A ELDER MAN WITH A CANE GOT HIT BY A HIT AND RUN...BETWEEN JO JO SIGN AND AMELIA DRIVE........IT DOES NOT LOOK GOOD AT ALL...........OMG PLEASE PRAY,"one post said.

NBC10 reports the victim was 70. His cane and shoes were left behind at the scene, that report said.
