HorrorFest At Shady Brook Farm Starts Saturday

YARDLEY, PA — The usually friendly fields of Shady Brook Farm are about to get creepy.

HorrorFest at Shady Brook Farm, a series of attractions of varying degree of spookiness, kicks off at the farm on Saturday Sept. 28.

The attractions will be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 6-10 p.m. and Sundays from 6-9 p.m. through Oct. 27.

Tickets range in price from $18, for general admission to Shady Brook on the nights of the festival, to a $50 "RIP wristband" which offers unlimited goes at all four of the planned attractions. On Fridays and Sundays, you can get a discounted $25 ticket for all four attractions by using an online promo code and bringing a non-perishable food item.

  • Hayride of Horror. Just what it sounds like — a ride into Shady Brooks' "haunted wooded acres." Rating: Semi-Scary
  • Barn of Horror. "A collection of night terrors captured under one roof," Shady Brook says. Rating: Super Scary.
  • Carnage ... in the Corn. "Do you dare enter this maze of horror?" Rating: Super Scary.
  • Alien Encounter 3D. "A terrifying adventure that will bring the extraterrestrial into focus." Rating: Scary.
