IPhone Theft, Unwanted Solicitors Top Lower Makefield Twp. Crimes

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department Friday released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —The Lower Makefield Township Police Department Friday released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week, including lots of incidents involving credit cards.

These are the criminal incidents:

SOLICITORS —Unit block of Highland Drive, reported at 9 a.m. The complainant reported that solicitors for Harris Paving were soliciting without permits.

IDENTITY THEFT —2100 block of Graystone Lane, reported at 12:36 p.m. The complainant reported receiving an email from their credit card company that their information was stolen in a data breach.

Oct. 17

CREDIT CARD FRAUD —600 block of Leslie Lane, reported at 12:15 p.m. The complainant reported an unauthorized use of their credit card in the amount of $1,356.24.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS —500 block of South Dove Road, reported at 3:55 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) entered the residence via an unlocked window and removed a firearm and cash and credit cards. The investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 13

THEFT —3800 block of Sterling Road, reported at 11 a.m. The complainant reported the theft of an iPhone from the package.

FRAUD —300 block of Oxford Valley Road, reported at 11:51 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) intercepted a mailed check, altered it, and cashed it.

IDENTITY THEFT —Unit block of Ivy Lane, reported at 4:26 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) opened several credit cards in their name.
