January Farmers Market Canceled In Yardley Due To Snowy Weather

YARDLEY, PA — With Friday's winter storm projected to bring several inches of snow to Lower Bucks County and windy weather in the forecast, the Yardley Farmers Market has called off its scheduled market this weekend.

Freezing or near-freezing temperatures and blowing snow are expected through Sunday.

The January 20th market has been cancelled, as organizers said the safety of vendors, customers, and staff is most important.

"We are so sorry!!" the Farmers Market wrote on Facebook. "But we plan to be back to regular scheduled programming on Saturday, Feb. 3. "

Sunny skies and high temperatures in the mid-30s are expected to return Monday before more snow is forecast to hit the state Wednesday.
