Juneteenth Flag Raising Planned In Yardley Borough
The ceremony for the national federal holiday takes place at Yardley Borough Hall on Friday.
YARDLEY BOROUGH, PA — The borough will hold a flag raising ceremony on Friday to celebrate the Juneteenth federal holiday.
The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Friday in front of Yardley Borough Hall at 56 South Main Street.
Attendees will get a free Juneteenth flag while supplies last.

The event's motto is "celebrate freedom, honor history, and build community."

The event is sponsored by the Gather Place Museum, which promotes Black history in Bucks County.
