LOWER MAKEFIELD, PA — A robber hungry for lobster and several thefts, and theft attempts, at Kohl's highlighted recent incidents handled by the Lower Makefield Township Police Department.

RETAIL THEFT - 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 12:58 p.m. Loss Prevention detained a 24 year old female from Philadelphia, PA for taking $31.11 worth of lobster without paying. She was taken into police custody.

THEFT – 1600 block of Kathy Dr. reported at 6:06 p.m. Complainant reported theft of
two bicycles secured to the bike rack.

IDENTITY THEFT - Unit block of Noreen Dr. reported at 10:06 p.m. Complainant
reported receiving a call earlier in the afternoon from someone claiming to be from
Medicare. After supplying personal identifying information, the complainant worried it
was fraudulent.

BURGLARY – 1200 block of Landmark Rd. reported at 8:14 a.n. Complainant reported
some time overnight, unknown person(s) entered the residence via an unlocked basement
door and removed several electronics.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE - 500 block of Jenny Dr. reported at 10:44 p.m. Complainant
reported unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed $5.00 and a debit
card.

RETAIL THEFT - 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 4:54 p.m. Loss
Prevention reported unknown male entered the store and removed $72. worth of
costume jewelry without paying.

May 18

THEFTS: 2000 block of Silverwood Dr. reported at 12:33 p.m. Complainant reported theft of two
leaf blowers from back of truck.

1400 block of Woodview Rd. reported at 2:17 p.m. Complainant reported theft of
$4,000.00 worth of jewelry sometime within the past four months.

May 17

FRAUD – 400 block of Hidden Oaks Dr. reported at 6:12 p.m. Complainant reported
receiving an email stating their accounts would be hacked if they didn’t send a few
hundred dollars in bitcoin. Complainant then noticed their Facebook and eBay accounts
were hacked.

RETAIL THEFTS: 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 1:39 p.m.. Loss Prevention reported a retail theft in progress. Further investigation led to the arrest of a 33 year old male from
Morrisville for taking $184.73 worth of merchandise without paying.

1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 1:40 p.m. Loss Prevention reported a
male entered the store, selected two Phillies jerseys and took them into the fitting room.
He only exited with one. He then fled the location without paying. Further investigation
led to the identification of the 33 year old male from Philadelphia. A warrant was
issued for retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property.

1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 5:30 p.m. Loss Prevention reported a
female entered the store and removed $496.51 worth of merchandise without paying.
Further investigation led to the identity of the 56 year old female from Newtown. A
warrant was issued for retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property.
