Lobsters Damaged, Canoe Stolen: Lower Makefield Crimes
The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents from the past week.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A canoe was stolen in one incident and a trailer was taken in another crime. Meanwhile, lobsters were damaged at the ShopRite.

Sept. 4
THEFT FROM VEHICLE —500 block of Keswick Drive, reported at 9:37 a.m. The complainant reported that sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed $1,200 worth of power tools.

FRAUD —1900 block of Berrel Court, reported at 5:05 p.m. The complainant reported $4,800 was
was pending to be withdrawn from their bank account they did not authorize.
Sept. 3
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT —300 block of Oxford Valley Road, reported at 8:29 a.m. The complainant reported the theft of a Norstar Dump Trailer sometime between 8/30-9/3.
THEFTS:
- 1300 block of Pepperbush Court, reported at 6:22 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of a recycling bin.
- 600 block of River Road, reported at 7:40 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of a canoe and paddles.
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS —1600 block of Bluebird Drive, reported at 6:39 p.m. Police responded to the report of an intoxicated woman walking with children and a wheelchair. Further investigation led to the 54-year-old township woman being cited for public drunkenness.
Aug. 31
THEFT FROM VEHICLE —600 block of River Road, reported at 8:10 a.m. The complainant reported that sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and
removed credit cards, $35 USC, and their registration card.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF —1600 block of Big Oak Road at Shop Rite, reported at 9:45 a.m. Loss Prevention reported a retail theft in progress. The manager reported a man drank a container of orange juice without paying for it and damaged lobsters on display. The 23-year-old Malvern man was cited for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief.
DUI ARREST —600 block of Stony Hill Road, reported at 11:39 a.m. Police responded to the report of a reckless driver. Further investigation led to the 36-year-old female driver from Lower Makefield Township for Driving Under the Influence.
WANTED PERSON —500 block of West Trenton Avenue, reported at 9:08 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. A records check revealed the 59-year-old male driver from Trenton, N.J., was wanted for dangerous drugs out of Philadelphia. He was taken into police custody.

THEFT —1100 block of University Drive, reported at 12:19 p.m. The complainant reported an
unknown person(s) intercepted a mailed check, altered it, and cashed it.
