Local Author and Pastor Examines Nature of God in New Book

Pierre Eade, a Yardley resident and local pastor has written a book that positively changed his own perceptions about the nature of God and may also challenge your own. His book, Our Good Father, looks to the words of Jesus to help better understand the nature of God.

A few years ago, a question came to his mind that he could not ignore, “How would Jesus describe the nature of God the Father?” Eade began a Bible study in his church on this topic that eventually led to the writing of his second book. In searching for the answer to this question, Eade discovered a transformative realization. “I came to see a common theme among Jesus’ teachings. He wants us to know, ‘My Father is good.’”

Reflecting on his own religious upbringing Eade states, “I always felt like God was out to get me, just waiting for me to screw up.” He states that this type of belief in a God was changed into one of a loving Father as he spent time in research and prayer.
