The new segment consists of two ramps and a street crossing, forging an ADA-accessible connection on the D&L Trail, and creating a more than 75-mile section of uninterrupted trail from Allentown to Bristol.

"This project was already 10 years in the making, way before me, but I am very excited to see its completion," Mayor Gary Wallace said. "Having the connection will help bring even more people to Morrisville. With the 75-mile section of uninterrupted trail from Allentown to Bristol, people can now enjoy continuous outdoor activities and stop onto Bridge Street for a nice break to walk our downtown and enjoy what Morrisville has to offer."

"This crossing does not just fill a gap in the trail network," said Claire Sadler, DLNHC Executive Director. "It improves safety and mobility while connecting trail users to businesses along Bridge Street—the results of which we're already seeing through two new Trail Friendly Businesses that are eager to greet visitors."
