Lower Makefield Police Report: Church Trespassing, ID Theft

LOWER MAKEFIELD, PA — Trespassing at a local church and a vehicle stuck on railroad tracks highlighted the incidents handled by the Lower Makefield Township Police Department in recent days.

Here's a look at the LMT Police blotter from March 29-April 3.

April 3

• CRIMINAL TRESPASS – 900 block of Reading Ave. at St. Ignatius. Reported at 6:34 a.m. Complainant reported a male who has previously committed thefts from the church and has trespassed was on scene. Police located the 61 year old male from Philadelphia and took him into police custody for criminal trespass.

April 2

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1300 block of Lexington Dr. reported at 6:42 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) wrote on the vehicle with chalk.

April 1

• IDENTITY THEFT – 200 block of Garber DR. reported at 6:06 p.m. Complainant reported providing their personal information to someone claiming to be from United Healthcare and later discovering $3,000 was withdrawn from their bank account without their permission.

March 31

• DRUG ARREST – 500 block of Heritage Oak Dr. reported at 5:14 p.m. Police responded to the report of a burglary in progress at the location. Subjects matching the description of the actors were stopped at Stony Hill Rd. and Heacock Rd. A 34-year-old female from Columbus, Ohio and a 24-year-old male from New Albany, Ohio were taken into police custody for possession of drug paraphernalia.
• THEFT – 100 block of Stony Hill Rd. reported at 4:22 p.m. Complainant reported theft of jewelry from the bedroom sometime between 3/20-3/28.
• COUNTERFEITING – Big Oak Rd. and Oxford Valley Rd. Reported at 9:03 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of a 21-year-old female from Philadelphia for possessing a fraudulent PA registration/tag.

March 30

• THEFT – 100 block of River Rd. Reported at 1:59 p.m. Complainant reported theft of construction equipment and personal items from the construction site some time overnight.
• IDENTITY THEFT – 1900 block of S. Crescent Blvd. Reported at 1:41 p.m. Complainant reported receiving a call from someone claiming to be from the Social Security Administration. They provided their social security number before realizing it was a scam.

March 29

• RETAIL THEFT – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s. Reported at 4:37 p.m. Loss Prevention reported an unknown female entered the store, selected merchandise, and left without paying.
• DUI ARREST – Heacock Rd. and RR Crossing. Reported at 11:31 p.m. Police responded to the report of a vehicle on the railroad tracks. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 23-year-old female driver from Annandale, N.J. for driving under the influence.
