The Lower Makefield Business Association is petitioning for a referendum to allow alcohol sales in the township. Lower Makefield is the only municipality in Bucks and Montgomery counties that continues to ban alcohol sales, the organization says.

You must be a Lower Makefield Township resident to sign the petition. Petitions are also located at various Lower Makefield businesses and at the township office.
The deadline to collect signatures is March 6.
