Carjacking, Strong-Armed Robbery Reported In Lower Makefield

Lower Makefield Police said the victim was struck over the head and pulled from his vehicle early Sunday morning.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A man was pulled from his vehicle and repeatedly struck over the head in a strong-armed robbery and carjacking early Sunday morning, police said.

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department said the incident happened in the 700 block of Stony Hill Road.

After assaulting the victim, the suspect stole the victim’s vehicle and drove away.

The suspect was subsequently located and taken into custody after a short pursuit and foot chase, police said.

Police said the victim positively identified the man as the one who physically assaulted him and stole his vehicle.

In addition to having outstanding warrants out of Bucks County, the man was charged with Robbery, Inflicting Serious Bodily Injury, Aggravated Assault, three counts of Criminal Mischief, Tampering with Property, and Receiving Stolen Property.
