McCaffrey's Food Markets Adding New Store
The grocery chain, which has a store in Lower Makefield Township, is adding a grocer nearby in New Jersey to its portfolio.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — McCaffrey's Food Market is expanding its operations in the Philadelphia region.
The grocery chain operates eight locations, including one in the township. Its ownership recently announced a new addition just across the border in New Jersey.
"We are honored to welcome Pennington Quality Market into the McCaffrey's family," Jim McCaffrey IV said in a press release. "PQM has built an outstanding reputation, and we look forward to building on that strong foundation. Our goal is to continue delivering high-quality products, service, and community focus that customers have come to expect."

For 66 years, Pennington Quality Market has operated in the area. As it transitions to McCaffrey’s Food Markets, all of its employees are being offered positions to remain.
"Making sure our team was cared for and given the opportunity to continue on was the most important part of this transition for both my sister Barbara and me during the sale process," PQM Co-Owner Mike Rothwell said.
