PECO Scam Reported In Lower Makefield Township
The Lower Makefield Township Police Department Friday released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —The Lower Makefield Township Police Department handled a PECO scam among its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.
These were the criminal incidents:

THEFT —22000 block of Cornerstone Drive, reported at 8:16 a.m. The complainant reported
receiving picture confirmation that a package they shipped was delivered, but it was stolen before the recipient received it.

ATTEMPTED FRAUD —11000 block of Cornerstone Drive, reported at 11:55 a.m. The complainant reported someone claiming to be from PECO wanted them to purchase three $300 gift cards for services relating to their PECO bill.
ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM VEHICLE —Unit block of Austin Rd. reported at 3:58 p.m. The complainant reported three unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicles
and rummaged through them. Nothing reported missing at this time.

THEFT —200 block of Stony Hill Road, reported at 4:30 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of a package from the front porch.
FRAUD —200 block of Parkside Avenue, reported at 5 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) attempted to access several of their accounts and an iPhone was purchased in their name.

IDENTITY THEFT —Unit block of Oak Avenue, reported at 11:31 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) used their information to open utilities in their name.
