PECO Upgrades Underway In Lower Makefield Twp.
The work will impact more than a dozen roads in Lower Makefield Township.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —PECO will be working this month, spending over $9 million on upgrades.
Township officials said PECO will be upgrading and installing new, innovative equipment, including new poles and tree-resistant aerial wires.
As part of the work, an enhanced tree work program will also reduce the number of outages caused by trees and other vegetation.

Township officials said work will occur along Afton Avenue, Temple Drive, Dickinson Drive, Sandy Run Road, Drexel Drive, Lehigh Drive, College Avenue, Reading Avenue, Fairway Drive, Edgewood Road, Oxford Valley Road, Mahlon Drive, River Road, Moyer Road, Gainsway Road, Sensor Road, Lanyard Road, Jade Road, Briarwood Court, Green Ridge Road, Lakeshore Drive, Kings Road, Dukes Drive, Countess Drive, Queens Drive, Baron Drive, Princess Drive, and Duchess Drive.
