Pennsbury To Host School-Violence Presentation

The presentation, by a local police lieutenant, will focus on ways to identify and address early signs of violence among children.

YARDLEY, PA — The Pennsbury School District will be hosting a presentation addressing ways to spot early signs of violence in schools and the community.

"Pathways to Violence" is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, at the Pennwood Middle School auditorium. Pennwood is located at 1523 Makefield Rd. in Yardley.

The program is intended for adults, particularly parents as guardians, as well as others in the community.

The presentation will be led by Lt. Nelson Whitney, of the Falls Township Police Department. In it, Whitney will discuss ways to recognize and respond to early signs of violence by children, either in or out of school.

The event is free to the public.
