Pennsbury Theater Students To Get 'Footloose' (ICYMI)
The three performances will feature Oscar and Tony-nominated '80s anthems.

YARDLEY, PA — Theater students and faculty at Pennsbury high schools are inviting the public to cut loose with them during three upcoming performances of the popular musical, "Footloose."
The performances, which will be full of Oscar and Tony-nominated '80s ballads, are set for Feb. 8-10 at the PHS East auditorium, at 705 Hood Blvd. in Fairless Hills. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 8 and 9, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10.
This production features Nic Fallacaro as Ren McCormack, a city boy who comes to a small town where rock music and dancing have been banned, Zoe Necowitz as the reverend's daughter, Ariel Moore, and Daniel DJ Tomalin as the Rev. Shaw Moore.

Other featured cast members include Alain Brutus as Willard Hewitt, Nicholas Carty as Chuck Cranston, Gabrielle Goldman as Rusty, Kathryn Gilbride as Vi Moore, Sydney Sobkowiak as Wendy Jo, and Olivia Schanbacher as Urleen.
The production is choreographed by Trina Shumsonk, with musical direction by vocal music teacher, Lindsey Strauss. Rounding out the music team are PHS vocal music teachers David Reimschussel and Arlo Ehly, costume design by Robin Stelly and technical direction by Terry Poulton.

The show is produced by PHS Director of Choral Activities and Vocal Music Curriculum Coordinator, James Moyer.
Matt South is Pennsbury's vocal music teacher and high school music director.
Tickets may be purchased on Tuesday, Feb. 5, and Wednesday, Feb. 6, from 6-8 p.m. in the PHS East auditorium lobby. All tickets are assigned seating with prices ranging from $20 for Orchestra Level, $15 for Lower Balcony, and $10 for Upper Balcony. Discounts are available for military personnel and Pennsbury Gold Card holders.
